2 calamari steaks (or another kind of fish)
Salt
Garlic powder
2 TSP Maple sugar
10-12 grape tomatoes
2 tbsp finely chopped red onion
2 TSP olive oil
Black pepper
Garlic clove
5 basil leaves
Salt
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
Start grill 350-370'
Sprinkle salt, garlic powder and maple sugar on each side of calamari steaks.
The steaks cook quickly so watch closely, about 2 minutes per side depending on the size of your calamari steaks. If overcooked the calamari steaks will be rubbery.
In a small bowl combined quartered tomatoes, chopped onions, ribboned basil, oil, pepper and salt.
In another bowl mix the vinegar and maple syrup. Top the calamari streaks with tomatoes and then drizzle with the maple balsamic sauce.
