3 Tbsp Butter
2 1/4 Cups Milk
3 Cups of Flour
2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp Cinnamon Maple Sugar
2 1/4 tsp yeast
3-4 Cups Additional Flour
Additional Cinnamon Maple Sugar
Ground Cinnamon
In a saucepan heat the butter and milk together until it reaches 118F.
Use a mixer to combine dry ingredients, not including the additional flour. Pour in the warm milk mixture and mix well. Gradually add the additional flour. Mix until it is the consistency of bread dough. Put into a greased bowl, cover and let rise.
Once the dough has doubled in size punch it down, then split it in half. (This recipe makes 2 loaves). Roll out each dough section with a rolling pin to about 12x18 inches. Liberally sprinkle it with cinnamon maple sugar. Fold the 18" section in toward each other, so they are just touching. Sprinkle with more cinnamon maple sugar. Roll up the dough tightly and put it in greased bread pans. Cover and let rise.
Preheat oven to 350F. Then bake bread for 30 minutes.
Serve with Maple Cream and enjoy!
