Maple Marinated Chicken Thighs

 

4 Bone-In Chicken Thighs

3 Lemons, zested and juiced

1 Tbsp Dried Oregano

3 Cloves of Garlic, minced

1/2 tsp Salt

1 Tbsp Maple Sugar

1 Tbsp Avocado Oil

 

Mix all ingredients and marinate for 8 hours. 

 

Preheat oven to 350F.

 

On the stove top heat a cast iron until hot, add avocado oil. Place chicken skin side down in skillet and sear until golden brown and caramelized. 

Flip the chicken and place in the oven. Cook 20-30 minutes.
